DRIVER MEMO:

  1. Get the arrival time and date out down on the back of the motor vehicle trip ticket upon arrival to the cargo recipient. Call the supervisory operator in case of refusal!
  2. Check whether you have arrived at the address. Call the supervisory operator in case you doubt whether it is the right recipient. Otherwise, ask the receiving employee to show the seal he is going to put in WAYBILL TORG-12. If he has nothing to conceal, he will not raise difficulties. If he begins to readdress you upon arrival, stay where you are and call the supervisory operator.
  3. If the cargo has a sealing, be present when it is removed. If it is removed not in your presence or the record in the waybill says that the sealing is broken, though it was actually OK, call the supervisory operator.
  4. Be present during unloading and take part in cargo revaluation. Otherwise, if there is a cargo shortage and you did not recount what was unloaded, you shall pay for the shortage out-of-pocket.
  5. If there are several cargo recipients, check the actually unloaded cargo against the info in the material load list: in this case it will be hard to prove that you have mixed up and given away boxes with bars of gold instead of boxes with nuts.
  6. If the cargo is unloaded in the manner making repeated revaluation impossible (in one place with previously delivered similar cargo, or else the cargo is put into production right away or even taken away to an undisclosed location), take the following steps:
    • stop the unloading and demand that the senior responsible official be summoned (warehouse manager, production manager, etc.);
    • Call the supervisory operator to tell him about what is going on;
    • Let them boil over as long as they like. If there is a cargo shortage upon unloading but there is no other possibility to check and re-valuate the cargo, it will be you who will pay for the shortage.
  7. If the cargo appears to be of substandard quality or quantity, call the supervisory operator immediately and refuse to sign any acts and documents before the supervisory operators gives your instructions. If you cannot reach the forwarding agent, stay where you are and wait until connection. This will be cheaper than if you take the responsibility because the fewer documents you sign the less responsibility you will bear.
  8. Watch attentively who signs the material load list, what seal is put and what additional notes are made. If the company names in the seal and in the material load list do not match, you will appear to have delivered the cargo to a third-party company. Call the supervisory operator immediately! If there is the addition “received with shortage”, then the shortage will appear to be pinned on you. Call the supervisory operator!
  9. Take the two marked material transport lists with you. Otherwise, the will be no payment.
